Since Pools of Blood featuring Karnivool launched a month ago we've had some great coverage around the 'net. It includes write-ups on sites like Kotaku, IGN, Pocket Gamer and Australian Gamer.

Well, Pools of Blood is finally live, with the awesome soundtrack provided by Karnivool.

I think this game had as long a gestation as Sound Awake did, with a huge amount of lawyering going on in the background. However, all of that is now done and I hope you enjoy the game and spill some blood.

We are planning a number of upgrades over the coming months, so please drop past the Ask the Developers forum and let us know what features you want most.

Pools of Blood Lite has launched in the iTunes Store. It’s totally free so it’s a great way to get your friends interested. There’s no reason not to check it out now.

The Lite version offers five levels of squishy goodness just to give people an idea of just how “hands on” orc smiting can be. Give it a go. Tell your friends. Sneak it onto unsuspecting phones.
